Bata drumming workshops in Cuba 25th Jaunary 2020
The tours to Cuba students will have opportunity to learn both Havana and Matanzas style of Bata drumming. Bata Drumming Workshops in Cuba and Nigeria We organize workshop tours to Cuba and Nigeria.
The tours to Nigeria are designed for the students to get a fuller understanding of the Yoruba culture and its people and see Yoruba Bata Drumming expressed in it's fullness within different forms. The tour will go to Oshogbo home of the Anyan family tree of the old bata drumming style. The tours to Cuba students will have opportunity to learn both Havana and Matanzas style of Bata drumming
In January 2020 Egbe Oduniyi school of Bata drumming will be doing a special 6 day Bata drumming workshop trip to Cuba studying bata drums with teacher AwoIfaleke and members of Afro Cuba de Matanzas one of the most important Afro Cuba Folklore groups in Cuba.
For those interested in Orisa bata drumming and Orisa life styles.This workshop would give the student a great insight into Bata drumming in Matanzas Cuba and to experience the cultural ceremonial orias activities that surround the activities of Bata drumming
The program is a 6 day bata drumming workshop with Awoifaleke and master drummers from members of Afro Cuba de Matanzas, 2/3 days will be spent attending orisa cultural events Bembe, Tambores, Rumba shows
Workshop starting date and ending date is 25th January to 30th January 20 29 payments for the workshop must be paid by 30th of November workshop fees if your interested in doing the workshop please write to us and confrim you would like to attend and book a place we will write back to confrim a place and ask for you to make a payment for full confrimation of you place once you have piad we will send a confirmation payment slip and the itinerary of the workshop course
